Phlebotomy
The Phlebotomy Technician Program prepares graduates for entry-level positions as Phlebotomy Technicians in hospitals, clinics, laboratory service centers and physician offices. Our LFS/DHS approved CPTI program includes 44 hours of lecture and 40 hours of practical experience at nearby externship sites. No medical experience is required to enroll in the course. Upon completion of the program students will have met all of the State of California’s requirements to become a Certified Phlebotomy Technician 1 (CPT1). Passing a National Certification examination is also required and will be given on campus after the Didactic Training and prior to completing Externship hours. Cost: $2050 tuition; payment plans are available.
Requirements:
Must be 18 years or older
Must provide your own scrub uniform
Must have high school diploma or equivalency
No history of felonies
